HOBY South Dakota is led completely by volunteers from across the state who dedicate their time, talents and energy to
impact the lives of young leaders in South Dakota. Through volunteering with HOBY, volunteers have opportunity to not only contribute to the community, but also learn about themselves and refine their own leadership skills while meeting amazing
people and having fun!
We are always looking for volunteers who can help with various aspects of organizing the HOBY program within the state. Opportunities are available for individuals with a variety of skill levels, talents, and time availability. Please check out the

HOBY South Dakota Corporate Board
Volunteers 21 years of age or older are able to serve on HOBY South Dakota's corporate board of directors.
The corporate board meets monthly and manages all programs of HOBY South Dakota, from the leadership
seminar to alumni activities.
Currently, we are seeking to fill individual roles such as:
- Alumni Advisor
organize and plan activities for hundreds of HOBY South Dakota alumni to continue "Life with HOBY"
- CLeW Program Advisor
organize and implement HOBY's one day leadership program for high school first-year students
- At-Large Members
Individuals committed to HOBY's mission are welcome to apply to be at-large member on the HOBY Corporate Board.
Additionally, individuals representing one of our official cooperating organizations are needed to serve as official
organization liaisons.

HOBY South Dakota Leadership Seminar
The 2010 HOBY Leadership Seminar will be held June 10-13, 2010, on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, SD
Volunteers are needed to help plan for the 2010 seminar! Volunteers are needed with all time commitments and interest levels.
