If you are unfamiliar with HOBY, each high school
in the state of South Dakota
is invited to select one sophomore to be the official representative to the HOBY seminar. HOBY seminars are held around the world to inspire youth to become leaders in their everyday lives.

We are looking at having a HOBY SD reunion on Saturday, October 11th in Sioux Falls, from 10 AM to 6PM. For more information go to our alumni page.

Please also fill out a Consent and Acknowledgement of Risk Form. These are due Oct. 4th. Bring them with you or mail them to the address which can be found on our contact page.

Leadership Seminars

Each year, HOBY invites each high school to select a sophomore(s) to attend the state Leadership Seminar. Outstanding leaders from the entire state of South Dakota join together for a potentially life changing experience.

Register your future leader TODAY!

During the leadership seminar, the HOBY Ambassadors complete a community service project together. At the completion of each seminar, each student pledges to complete 100 more hours of their own time contributing to their local communities.
